Summary/Abstract: In this paper the author discusses in a comprehensive and systematic way the procedure for determining disciplinary responsibility of civil servants in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The said procedure is part of the disciplinary labor law - a system of legal norms which regulate the execution of disciplinary sanctions against workers as perpetrators of disciplinary offences, ensuring at the same time the legality and objectivity of the procedure and protection of their rights in this process. The author gives an explanation of the disciplinary proceedings and the review of the basic stages in the development of its normative‒legal solutions, while special attention is devoted to disciplinary proceedings in the civil service of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
