Summary/Abstract: This paper presents data from an empirical survey conducted in October – December 2014 among 124 students from various religions (Eastern Orthodox, Protestant, Armenian Gregorian, Jewish, and Muslim). The aim of the research is to outline the substantial differences regarding the importance of collective values and the degree of value crisis among the analyzed groups. The results obtained through SVS and VCQ reveal that while the Muslim denomination demonstrates “encapsulation” of collective beliefs, a reverse process of secularization is observed in the Christian communities. With the exception of the Protestant denomination, all student groups register enhanced value crisis. The study also raises some issues related to the possible ways to overcome the crisis of religious values in the country.
