System Nature of Modelling of Possible Trends in the Effects of Climate Change through the Technology of Geographic Information Systems Tools

Summary/Abstract: The basis of the entire contribution is the application of constructive theory of systems theses on a model for the prediction of the probable trend of the consequences of global climate change on vegetation zones on the territory of the Czech Republic. This model is completely designed in the technology of geographic information systems. Methodological basis, which is in detail in the first part of the contribution, is former Integrated Information System about the Territory ISU and its subsystem Ecological Databank of ISU. The prediction model, its similarly framed system characteristics are in the second part of the contribution, is based on the relationships between climatic conditions and vegetation zones. The model has already been used for data analysis on the conditions of cultivation for a selected growing tree species for forestry studies. Currently the results of the application of the model will be published for the conditions of cultivation of selected agricultural commodities.
