Summary/Abstract: The year of 1876 set the beginning of the weekly newspaper “Zprnitsa” issued in Tsarigrad by the American evangelical society that later proved to be the most read newspaper among the Macedonian Bulgarians. Even in the first few issues “Zornitsa” rendered truly the ups and downs of the Bulgarian national cause on the occasion of the outbreak and the crushing of the April uprising and thus formed the editorial practice to encourage with a wholesome effect for both sides the interaction of the Bulgarian national culture and the enlightener’s intentions of the American missioners. As an integral part of the Bulgarian linguistic area, concerning the nouns, the speech in the Bansko region shares quite a lot of the grammatical characteristics which are intrinsic to the literary language and the dialects. Within the entire Bulgarian linguistic volume the nouns are changeable independent parts of speech which are defined by the grammatical categories of gender, number and definiteness.
