Summary/Abstract: Innovation options in the field of music education in our country are still not sufficiently utilized. Innovations have a very important place in music education in the world. Network resources and technology, primarily the Internet, condition the emergence of new types and forms of music education. By selecting different teaching elements and their functional application which is the ultimate goal of knowledge, innovation phenomenon is always accompanied with the terms of somewhat similar meaning: creativity and originality. Innovation is a process, which refers not only to the continuity of time in which an innovation is happening, nor as a result of a single ongoing effort, but also to the fact that innovation in teaching one element affects the other elements. Innovation is happening in all the elements of teaching: defining objectives, teaching the topic, planning and preparing for classes, organized classes teaching methodology, teaching materials and learning resources, evaluation and monitoring of the effects.
