Summary/Abstract: The state and trends of development of the labor income and the policy of labor income in Romania in the period2000-2008 are presented and analyzed as a case study. The initial state of the labor income is examined, thereafter are explored successively the influence of natural factors on the labor income, the indicators of macroeconomic policies and specific policies of labor income in Romania.
