Summary/Abstract: The article entitled Learned references to Latin and Latin-speaking authors in selected religious texts by Polish Baroque writers as an expression of the European cultural identity discusses a phenomenon typical of the stylistics of the 17th and 18th century texts. The article includes examples of numerous quotations and allusions (from the Classical Antiquity until the 16th century) proving good knowledge of the Latin tradition by the Polish Baroque writers.
