The attitude of young people to faith and religion

Summary/Abstract: The article addresses the issue of impact of religion practice on behavior of young people. The author discusses the factors determining the degree of religiosity and attitude towards the faith, such as the importance of church, a priest, tradition, religious or unreligious parents, grandparents, age, place of living, and socioeconomic status. Referring to the literature and the results of surveys conducted among students from a junior high school, it has been demonstrated that the faith plays a role in the life of young people, their attitude towards religion and observance of its principles in their lives.
