Summary/Abstract: The article presents the current regulations, circumstances, practices and policies with regard to integration of citizens of third countries who have been granted asylum in Bulgaria. First it presents the newly adopted National integration strategy 2014-2020. Then it explores several aspects of social inclusion – identity, accommodation, social benefits, work and education. Finally, it focuses on the implications for the region of Haskovo.
