Summary/Abstract: The paper has a theoretical character and is focused on the field of competence in negotiation and its role in human resources process. Within it the author presents assumptions of structure of negotiation’s competence, which include knowledge, attitudes, traits and abilities. Each of above mentioned elements is briefly characterized. In conclusion the author presents the dilemmas of measuring the effective human resources management.
