Summary/Abstract: The object of investigation in this paper is the vita of St. Catherine, the Alexandrian Virgin and Martyr, in a medieval Bulgarian manuscript, known as Jagichev Zlatoust. My main aim is to take stock of the style of the text mentioned. My main purpose is to determine if we can talk about rhetorical rhythm in the vita, and if we can, what it is due to, and how it is created. The main method, which I will use, will be the method of stylistic analysis.
