The right to image, to name, to registered office, to logo, to trademark of the legal entity (company) and the means of protecting them according to the new Civil Code (I)

Summary/Abstract: In the Romanian system of law, the right to image is one of the rights of personality also recognized in the case of the legal entity, and this paper especially refers to companies which have, like the natural persons, the right to censor the use of their image. The author of the paper presents the legal provisions of the domestic law and of the European law by which the right to image is regulated, but also any cases in the case-law relating to denigration, as the legal entity had the right to material and/non-material damages in the case in which this non-proprietary right is breached.
