Arizona’s New Law: A Call for Reform

Summary/Abstract: On 23 April 2010 the government of Arizona passed a new immigration law – the most severe of its kind in decades. This law, called the Arizona Senate Bill 1070, seeks to find and deport illegal immigrants living in the United States. Supporters of the bill assert that provisions of the law are in agreement with federal immigration law.
