WHERE HAVE YOU GONE, EMIGRANT? PHENOMENON OF SPACE IN PROSE OF CZECH WRITERS IN EXILE AFTER 1989

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to phenomenon of changing space in emigrants’ minds and in output of writers living in exile who continues their writing after 1989. In prose of Jan Křesadlo, Jan Pelc, Lubomír Martínek and Milan Kundera returning to the homeland brings another trauma rather than feeling of joy and relief. Closed circle of homeland which was unrecheable after emigration is, after 1989, still closed for people who have spent several years abroad and could not accept changes in their former country.
