Summary/Abstract: In October 1998, the implementation of the model-project Program for Children and Youth Support in the Roma Community of Shuto Orizari was launched, financially supported by the Foundation Institutetvorsko drustvo Makedonija (FOSIM) and the King Baudouin Foundation. The program and activities were prepared by FOSIM and Prof. Divna Lakinskaya as a representative of the non-governmental organization Center for Social Initiatives Nadež. They developed a three-year innovative Program, which aimed to monitor and support the process of education of children from preschool age, to completion of secondary education.
