Summary/Abstract: This article is the first attempt to create a corpus of adornments that existed on the territory of modern Kursk region in Romny culture time. The analysis of the collected material allowed to create rather objective picture of formation, borrowings and development of the corpus of adornments produced by Slavic tribes known as Severi, who lived in Kursk province on the banks of the rivers Seim and Upper Psiol in the second half of 8th — late 10th centuries.
