Summary/Abstract: The present article analyzes the free movement of persons and merchandises in the context of the economic expansion of the European Union, a briefhistoric regarding the creation of a unique market, the appearance of the concept ofEuropean citizenship, equal rights for all the citizens of the member states, in all domains,the possibility of establishment in any of the member states and of working in the sameconditions, with the same benefits as well as the obligation of elimination of anydiscrimination based on citizenship motives between workers of the member states, alsotranspositions of the European regulations in the internal legislation.
