Summary/Abstract: Professor Divna Lachinska is a significant example for numerous generations of teachers and educators in the Macedonian education for social work. When someone talks about "social work in Macedonia", he talks about Divna at the same time. She participates in many conferences and regional social work meetings in the formerYugoslavia, as well as in Europe, where she always speaks about the state of her country that she loves (concerned about ethnic conflicts and economic destabilization), for the needs of the Institute for Social Work, where she comes from (always in searching for new books and worrying about scarce literature on social work), as well as the practice of social work in the field, with which it is closely related (full of stories, examples of vision).
