Summary/Abstract: The article considers the peculiarity of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (CMU) as the supreme body of executive power and as an agent of organizational and economic authority in innovation. Attention is paid to the issue of the organizational and economic competence of the CMU in the innovation sphere and the means of influence of the CMU for innovation activity.
