Summary/Abstract: In the period from 9 to 12 June 2010, in the neighboring Republic of Serbia, an International Congress of Doctors of Social Medicine and other healthcare workers was held on the topic: The Challenges of Social Medicine in the 21st Century, attended by more than 200 experts and health workers from all countries in the Region and more than 300 scientific and expert papers were presented through plenary and oral presentations, or exhibited at poster sessions.
