Summary/Abstract: “Szczutek” was published in Lviv from 1869 to 1896. The article is to describe and analyze the figure of Gogo, which is the hero of the anonymous, periodical, 4-verse poems. Gogo is an egoist focused on his own fashionable appearance. The hero is a satirical example of a citizen who virtues like patriotism, family and faith treats instrumentally, for Gogo such traditional values are of little importance.
