Summary/Abstract: The article publishes dedicative inscriptions of the Olbian officials in I-II cc. AD. The article also suggests that members of Olbian councils would not always improve their career growth by rising from step to step. It is also unclear whether it was the law or an old venerated tradition in Olbia that determined strict order of replacements in magistrate’s offices.
