Summary/Abstract: The author investigated the status and prospects of tourism industry in terms of legal support tourism and subject composition of its members. The article are analyzed the requirements of the Law of Ukraine » About tourism» regarding the protection of the rights of individual participants travel market and the implementation of the tourist activity in General, with special attention to the relative effectiveness is created as a result of administrative reforms of the mechanisms of implementation legislative provisions concerning state control of tourist activities. The author focused attention on the economic competence of tour operators and travel agents.
