Summary/Abstract: The company has to be aware of its responsibility for the impact that it has on the environment. This article presents the importance of corporate social responsibility to build transparent and lasting relationships with stakeholders. It also shows the change in the approach to corporate social responsibility towards creating common social and business values. In addition, the article depicts the directions of development of corporate social responsibility types taking into consideration the degree of involvement of companies in the implementation of corporate social responsibility idea.
