Summary/Abstract: Formation of Roma families have special characteristics, generated and marked by specific psychosocial issues to this category. The present paper aims to illustrate and also to explain specifically the choice of partner in the Roma communities, issues like geographical homogamia functions this task, the similarity and complementarity, but also specific reasons for establishing the couple.
