Summary/Abstract: The paper covers the study of peculiar features of histopathological changes under action of two helminth species in tissues of meroconsortia of the Caspian seal: liver, gall bladder, pancreas, and stomach. Significant changes in the seorgans accompanied by appearance of capsules, inflammatory infiltration, and occurrence of abscesses were recorded. These peculiarities should be considered as a manifestation of morpho-functional compensation generated in the process of mutual adaptation of organisms of the host and parasite.
