Summary/Abstract: Kolozsvár (ACK) had determined the athletic life of Kolozsvár as well as the Hungarian sport life since its foundation in 1884. The competitions, trainings and events organized by the club were widely known and attended and the number of its members was increasing every year. The popularity of the events was attained through addressing the inhabitants of the town in publications of the association as well as in the local and Hungarian media. The members of the CAK published numerous articles during the eight years of its existence, while the Secretary General of the club edited three annuals. The athletes from Kolozsvár published the Regulation of the Club, competition booklets and comic papers, too. Their works are unique in the history of media even today.
