Summary/Abstract: This paper is dealing with a specific issue of sport management in post/Communist countries:what happened following to the fall of the Iron Curtain with the football-clubs supported by the Military during decades of Socialist state. Our paper exams the situation of former Soviet, Polish,Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Yugoslav and Albanian teams supported by Communist armies, and their path from the last two decades.
