Doğal Afetlerin önlenmesinde Kuruluşların Önem ve Sorumluluk Düzeylerine Göre İncelenmesi: İstanbul Örneği
An Analysis on The Importance and Responsibility Levels of According to Organizations on Preventing Natural Disasters: Istanbul Example

Summary/Abstract: Natural disasters, that have caused many losses of property and life losses. To prevent these losses many societies have put an importance on the develeopment of creating organizational structures. Associations and corporations play an important rolecreating stong organizations. This research aims to find out how much these organizations takes the responsibility and put an importance on these natural disasters from the publics’ point of view. Data was collected and SPSS 20.00 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) was used to analyze this research. Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis H tests have been used at the analysis phase. The research results showed that the publics’ opinions on organizations’ level of importance and taking responsiblity on natural disease topics varied according to publics’ age, sex and marital status variables. Conclusions and recommendations have been discussed regarding these results obtained from the research.
