Summary/Abstract: The thesis presents selected aspects of marketing activity of agricultural guesthouses with a particular emphasis on promotional actions. On the basis of theoretical considerations, indicating its specific, mostly limited character of marketing activity of individual agritourist guesthouses, a questionnaire based survey research performed in 2010 among 96 owners of agritourist guesthouses acting in the province of Podkarpackie have been presented. Due to limited financial resources and lack of professional attitude, promotional actions of the surveyed entities are mostly connected with information notices, simple folders or leaflets as well as internet advertising, however, its role is not fully developed.
