Issues concernig creation of virtual teams

Summary/Abstract: Rapid development of the Internet and connected communication technologies allowed companies to implement teams working across time, distance, cultural context and organizational boundaries. Virtual teams as a solution are not suitable for every type of an organization but properly implemented can be a tool to achieve higher competitiveness in changing global market. The aim of this paper is to shortly discuss elements needed for success of virtual teams and potential barriers in their way.
