Summary/Abstract: This study, which aims at finding out the relationship between personality traits of school principals that are determined based on the Five Factor Theory and job satisfaction of teachers, was conducted using the relational screening model. Inthestudy, 54 school principals were applied the Personality Test Based on Adjectives and the Rotter Internal/External Locus of Control Scale, while a total of 516 teachers working at the same schools as the principals were applied the Job Satisfaction Scale. The correlation and regression analyses of the data were performed by means of the SPSS 22 package programme. The findings obtained at the end of the analysis indicated that there were significant relationships between certain personality traits of school principals and general job satisfaction and some job satisfaction dimensions of teachers. It was understood from the findings that the principals’ personality traits under the dimensions of responsibility, emotional balance and openness to supervision were significant precursors of general job satisfaction and that these three variables accounted for approximately 37% of the variance in teachers’ job satisfaction.
