The Building of the Summer Theatre in Cluj-Napoca

Summary/Abstract: Kata Demeter’s art history study begins with the enumeration of old theatre buildings in Cluj. After this,​ the author turns towards the main topic of her research, the presentation of the building in which the Hungarian State Theatre of Cluj-Napoca presents its special performances. The author speaks about the builders, the inner and exterior spaces of the building, lost and preserved ornaments and about reconstructions. She illustrates old conditions and the present situation with pictures and postcards.
