Summary/Abstract: A Totalitarian Anti-Utopia. This paper investigates one of the strands of totalitarian anti-utopia, which is illustrated in Monica Lovinescu’s novel entitled The Word in Words [Cuvântul din cuvinte], targeting several specific trends of contemporary literature in general, such as the comingling of literary species and the return to the primary reflexive function of fictionality.
