Summary/Abstract: The article presents the most important changes which have taken place in the journal recently. They concern the new co-publisher, the periodical’s being included in the Academic Platform of Journals, changing to the Open Access formula, adding the digital identifier of the electronic document (DOI), new archival and index bases, introducing metabases and bibliography according to the Chicago style for all articles. The changes mark new trends of the development of Folia Toruniensia. The text briefly presents all the articles published in vol. XVII.
