Summary/Abstract: The essay inquires whether the non-human perspective in storytelling is still a narrative technique or it leads to a discursive approach, according to the shifts that have occurred in our episteme of post-.Taking into consideration the various perspectives of posthumanism in terms of a paradigmatic structure, the human’s relation with otherness is reshaped and the main goal of our society is to regain human identity as part of existence. Having this in mind, we discuss Sam Savage’s novel Firmin: Adventures of a Metropolitan Lowlife as a new form of discourse in posthuman times.
