Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the peculiarities of the grapheme system and orthography of the Dussu csuvaiuche pohogjenje, writing of Slavonian Franciscan monk Jeronim Lipovčić (1716–1766), published in Buda in 1750. Lipovčić belonged to the circle of the Buda Franciscans and, together with Stjepan Vilov, contributed to the diffusion and consolidation of the so-called “Slavonian” grapheme system significantly.
