Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the characteristic of so called proecological needs - a relatively new group of social and long-term needs - which are connected with clean environment and sustainable development concept. The paper contains the analysis of problems which appear during meeting these needs. The paper also shows that these needs can be satisfied by using sustainable marketing.
