The Single (Unique) Teacher?

Summary/Abstract: The article shows existence of direct links between the content of Damascus Document, being a part of the Qumran library, and Gospel according to Matthew. These links indicate that both compositions were written approximately at the same period of time. The article also offers evidence that there was not one but two leaders in the Qumran community – Teacher of Righteousness and Interpreter of the Law. This, again, points to the New Testament where two heads of a new movement feature – John the Baptist and Jesus.
