Summary/Abstract: In the opinion it was stressed that the currentstatute does not use a progressive method, which reflects in a better way the relationshipbetween the employee’s financial situation and the extent of burdens related to the proceedings. Secondly, the demarcation sum set at PLN 50,000 has not been synchronizedwith rules determining the value of the claim. After an analysis the author concludes thatthe solution proposed in the petition could be taken into account in the development of an amendment to the current regulation.
