Summary/Abstract: The study was undertaken the issue includes the educational policy of the European Union (EU) and its influence on the changes taking place in the area of education in Poland. Agitated research problem related in particular to the range EU education policy and the objectives of this policy and ways to measure their achievement. Its expression is research hypothesis placed here, according to which the essential for achieving Poland’s goals set by the EU’s education policy was the use of financial resources from the EU Structural Funds. In order to verify the hypothesis formulated in this way in the first place the characteristics of the educational policy of the European Union was made, its objectives and the methods used in their implementation. Then the achievement of these objectives by Poland was analysed as also the support of their implementation of the European funds. As a result of the research found that the changes in education policy in Poland were related to the implementation of educational policy goals of the EU and with the financial support under the Structural Funds. In addition, the results of research allow us to conclude that Poland has not managed to achieve all the objectives of EU education policy set by the European benchmarks. However, in the context of the driven research problem we should positively evaluate the activities financed from the EU funds with the objectives of European Union programs.
