Modern instruments of communication with passenger in public transport

Summary/Abstract: Urban and regional public transport may be regarded as one of the most essential public tasks. This is due to the mass character of services offered, as well as the impact of the transport system on the conditions of life and the attractiveness of urban areas. Using IT tools and solutions the services can be better managed, their quality much improved and solutions helping passengers to use the services can be implemented – among others: the integration of transport, improved passenger information, and facilities related to the use of cards – electronic tickets.
