Summary/Abstract: The results of the analysis of the international direct investment and the peculiarities of investing in the development of new technologies are revealed. The factors influencing the process of international investment flows are analyzed. The characteristic trends of venture investment are defined. Proposals concerning directions of investment policy in the conditions of realization of the strategic objectives of sustainable development are developed.
