Summary/Abstract: The physical properties of mining rocks of the Western Donbass were studied. Present-day weathering has ameliorated the conditions of forest growing on coal mining rocks. On the basis of data obtained the conclusions of the great practical value for the rehabilitation measures have been drawn.
