Summary/Abstract: The author is examining music as a «sensitive code» of philosophy in the theoretical heritage of Adorno. The highlighted philosophical position lies in a constant discussion between the past and the present while being transformed in the spirit of «revealing» when the essence of a certain type of philosophical thought is becoming unconsciously sensitive social impulses which reflect the historical moment. T. Adorno is making a social philosophical analysis of modern Western music of XX century.
