Summary/Abstract: And also of the characteristic of the basic constructive elements the technology of knapping of flint is being considered on the three Late Palaeolithic sites – Lesca, Ivashcovo field and Ivashkova VI in the Bug area. Inspite of the usage of raw materials of one and the same type (Dniester pebble) by the dwellers of the sites and the resemblence in mounting and ways of knapping of nucleuses, the size and the character of flakes on each monument are different which is connected with the usage of various combination of angles of knapping off of nucleuses and the application of force. On the basis of the research of the forms of prenucleuses, nucleuses and the morphology of the flakes the attempt of the reconstruction of the knapping process is being made.
