These were the principles that specified their execution. The present article focuses on the praedia debent esse vicina principle, which was known already in Roman law. The author, relating to the opinions of jurists, not only analyses the significance of the aforementioned principle in Roman Law, but also makes an attempt at demonstrating it in the Polish civil law.
