Summary/Abstract: The article touches upon the phenomenon of "Orange Revolution" in the context of mythoheroic identification mechanism. There is explicated the narcissistic nature of this mechanism that made for both bloodless character of the ‘Revolution’ itself and fruitlessness of its results. The notion of ‘identification in uncertainty’ is grounded and consequences of such identification for the Ukrainian society are outlined.
