Use of the mask as a phenomenal means of external expression in the artistic and creative activity of the actor

Summary/Abstract: The history of world theater, art and creative activities ancestors of theatrical scene should examine the history of theatrical masks. Traditional images of mask-Polishynelya and Petryshki, which ruhaly forward each according to their national theaters popular print, pantomime, puppet, significantly affect the future of the theater, the circus, the show. To study the phenomenon of masks in theater requires synthesis of functional and historical-typological approach. History of the scenic masks is a historical interpretation of the forms of art in its real existence. The aim of this article is to consider the use of masks in various artistic activities of the actor in different historical periods as a phenomenal tool external expressive image and its interpretation in the Performing Arts and on the stage.
