Summary/Abstract: The problem presented in the study is the aspect of moving towards centralization of the functions and tasks of a company providing implementing, configuration and maintenance services of a telecom network. The aim of the study is the evaluation of the impact of centralization on selected factors of basic processes in a service company. Based on the analysis of the results of this evaluation, there will be possibility of reengineering processes within the company at the very beginning of implementing the changes. The evaluation of the impact of centralization on key business areas of the company is done by comparative analysis of the basic indicators before and after implementing the changes. For the in depth cognition and modelling of the processes a case study is adopted.
